AC Milan fans use blockchain tokens to vote on the football club’s motto

The Italian soccer giant AC Milan has just released its own fan token that fans can use to vote on a club motto for the season.

According to an announcement on February 11th, the club’s ACM Fan Token is now available live on Fan Engagement, which allows fans to purchase the token that will be used to access Club Polls, VIP Rewards, Super Fan -Access recognition, games and chat forums. The token debuted at $ 6.68.

Working with blockchain company Chiliz, AC Milan is debuting a team motto poll, where ACM owners create and vote on a motto to inspire players for the rest of the 2020-2021 Serie A season. The winning motto will be displayed in the first team’s dressing room at the San Siro Stadium.

The poll, scheduled for next week, is expected to give over 500 million AC Milan fans around the world the opportunity to support their favorite football stars.

AC Milan officially announced its plans to launch the ACM fan token on Chiliz in January 2021 to reach club fans under the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.

Before helping AC Milan launch their fan token, Chiliz and Socios launched a range of tokens for several sports clubs and organizations, including FC Barcelona, ​​Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain. Barcelona fans used the tokens to vote on the placement of a fan-designed artwork in the team’s dressing room, while Juventus fans had the opportunity to vote for the club’s new celebratory song.
