The Italian luxury car manufacturer Mazzanti Automobili has launched its security token offering on the regulated digital market STOKR.
As part of the offering, Mazzanti intends to raise € 999,999 ($ 1.2 million) for STOKR to develop a special edition of its Evantra Millecavalli R hypercar model.
According to an announcement made on February 25, Mazzantis STO will allow investors to buy MZZ tokens at a price of EUR 1 each. The token will be issued by Mazzanti via Blockstream AMP, a platform for tokenization of securities based on Bitcoin’s liquid sidechain (BTC) and integrated directly into STOKR.
As part of the STO, MZZ investors can receive a 50% share in sales of the Evantra special edition. The offer is available for selected European countries with a minimum investment of 50 euros, according to the announcement.
Mazzanti’s founder Luca Mazzanti said the company had been considering running an STO for some time. The company announced its upcoming STO plans in early February.
In connection with the STO, Mazzanti also announced that the company will allow its customers to purchase all editions of the Evantra model with Bitcoin starting February 25th. The move reflects Tesla’s recent move to accept bitcoin payments for its electric vehicles.
STOKR, based in Luxembourg, has listed various STOs in accordance with the capital market laws of the European Union. The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority approved ParkinGO’s offer as the first cross-border STO on STOKR last year.
