Bakkt offers Bitcoin transactions over its US-wide network
Bakkt Holdings (Bakkt), the digital assets marketplace behind the Bakkt app, has announced a strategic partnership with Cantaloupe, a digital payments and software services company that provides end-to-end technology solutions for the retail market, to create a offering cashless service for consumers to spend digital assets on unattended retail devices. Through the partnership, consumers will soon be able to pay for products with cryptocurrency and supported loyalty points across Cantaloupe’s US network.
Through the partnership, Cantaloupe can offer consumers the option to pay with the digital assets in the Bakkt app, starting with Bitcoin.
